The operations grid for insurance agencies & FMOs

Your entire downline, tracked and reported

AgencyGrid builds your agent hierarchy and reports on everything that runs through it, from production and contracting to licensing, support, and compliance, so Medicare and life & health agencies, FMOs, and uplines see their whole downline in one place instead of scattered tools. Commission and override reporting comes standard, because the data is already there.

The platform

Everything an agency runs on, in one grid

Your hierarchy, your contracting and licensing, your support and compliance, and automated reporting across all of it.

Your agent hierarchy, as a living grid

Model uplines, downlines, and sub-agencies as one structure. Move an agent and every rollup, report, and downline view re-parents instantly. Role-scoped access means agents see themselves, managers see their team, and you see everything.

  • Materialized-path hierarchy built for 50k-agent orgs
  • CSV roster import & magic-link agent onboarding
  • Safe “view as agent” impersonation for support

Contracting, licensing, support & compliance

Everything you use to run the agency sits right on each agent’s node in the grid. Track carrier contracting to completion, stay ahead of license expirations, and run a real ticketing system for support and compliance, routed to the right people.

  • Contracting pipeline with per-agent status & history
  • License tracking with 60 / 30 / 7-day expiry alerts
  • Support & compliance tickets, auto-routed by type

Carrier data in, reports out — automatically

AgencyGrid pulls both your book of business and your commission statements from carrier feeds or uploads, maps them (AI-assisted for new layouts), and loads them into your grid. Because it holds the book and the statements side by side, it catches policies that are in force but were never paid — the gap statement-only commission tools structurally can’t see.

  • Book × statement cross-reference: finds effectuated policies with no payment
  • Expected-vs-actual underpayment, override & LOA payout tracking
  • Scheduled book, production & commission reports to every agent
Who it's for

One platform for every kind of downline

Medicare FMOs

Build a multi-level downline, track contracting and licensing per agent, and push production and book reporting to everyone in the hierarchy.

Life & health IMOs

Run recruiting, contracting, and support across annuity, IUL, term, and ACA producers, with reporting that rolls up the whole org.

Independent agencies

One place for your roster, contracting pipeline, support tickets, and compliance, plus book and commission reporting on top of it.

Uplines & agencies

Build your grid once. Move an agent and every rollup, report, and downline view re-parents automatically.

How it works

Set it up once, automated from then on

1

Build your hierarchy

Import your roster and model uplines, downlines, and sub-agencies as one structure. Contracting, licensing, and support all attach to each agent in the grid.

2

Connect your data

Add carrier SFTP once and AgencyGrid pulls book-of-business and commission files on schedule, parsed, mapped (AI-assisted for new layouts), NPN-matched, and loaded with no manual downloads.

3

Report & operate

Scheduled reports go down the hierarchy to every agent while you run contracting, support tickets, and compliance from the same place. Commission and override reporting comes along, because the data is already there.

FAQ

Questions agencies ask

What is book-of-business reporting for insurance agencies?

Book-of-business reporting consolidates every in-force policy and commission a carrier reports about your agency into a single, current view, attributed to the writing agent and rolled up through your hierarchy. AgencyGrid automates it by ingesting carrier feeds directly, so your book is always live instead of stitched together from spreadsheets.

How do FMOs and uplines track downline commissions and overrides?

AgencyGrid models your full agent hierarchy as a living structure. It computes each upline’s differential override (the spread between their carrier comp level and their downline’s) on every policy the downline writes, and rolls those overrides up the chain automatically. You see projected override income per agent and across the whole organization.

What is the difference between a 1099 and an LOA agent?

A 1099 agent is contracted directly to the carrier, so the carrier pays them their street commission and your agency sees only the override. An LOA (licensed-only agent) assigns their book to the agency, so the carrier pays the full commission to the agency, which then pays the agent internally. AgencyGrid settles both models, including intermediate upline overrides on LOA business, and produces a payout sheet you can hand to whoever cuts checks.

Can AgencyGrid pull data directly from carrier SFTP feeds?

Yes. Connect a carrier’s SFTP credentials once and AgencyGrid downloads book-of-business and commission files on a schedule, detects the file type and encoding, maps the columns to your fields, matches rows to agents by NPN, and loads them, with content-addressed dedupe so re-runs never double-count.

Does AgencyGrid work for both Medicare and life & health agencies?

Yes. AgencyGrid is carrier- and product-agnostic. Medicare agencies use it for MA/MAPD/PDP and med-supp; life & health agencies use it for annuity, IUL, term, ACA, and more. Any carrier that delivers a book or commission file can feed the grid.

How is this different from commission-only software?

Most commission tools only process the commission statement, so they can only tell you about payments the carrier already made. AgencyGrid also ingests your book of business from carrier feeds or uploads, so it holds the book and the statements together and cross-references them. That lets it catch policies that are in force but were never paid — effectuated business missing from the statement entirely — which a statement-only tool structurally cannot see. It also computes what each policy should have paid (premium times the writing agent’s contracted comp-grid level), flags underpayments with the exact dollar shortfall, and surfaces chargebacks, so you can chase the carrier before it slips through.
